Our time with Joel’s family has been wonderful (more than words can express). \u00a0We have enjoyed every moment of it. \u00a0This Christmas season has been especially meaningful to us. \u00a0We are so thankful for God’s gift to us through his son. \u00a0The reminder of his sacrifice helps us to keep focused on the right things in our life. \u00a0Thank you God for your gift to us.<\/p>\n

Along with Joel’s parents came our replacement camera. \u00a0We are so grateful to everyone who took a part in making this possible. \u00a0Joel had a blast breaking in our new camera. \u00a0Here is a sampling of our photographer at work showing you our first Christmas in Senegal.<\/p>\n

For Christmas we got new (used) furniture. It is nice to make the house a little more homey.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Christmas Eve we did soups, just like we used to with my folks (no peacock lane though)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

My favorite Gift (an African Nativity scene)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Tyler's
Tyler's favorite was the train table Joel built for him.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"He
He really got into opening presents<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Ethan was most excited about the Wii<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"Japanese
Japanese Pottery was also a highlight.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Our Christmas meal...followed by many cookies<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

The day was filled with games and art<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
