Over the past 8 week we have been on the road more than we\u00a0 have been at home.\u00a0 We have traveled to 5 different countries, visited 10 different teams, taken 5 different forms of transportation, and attempted greetings in 8 different languages.<\/p>\n

So why have we done all of this?\u00a0 Why do we travel?\u00a0 These trips just reminded me again of why it is important that we make the trips we do.\u00a0 Here is just a small glimpse into the reasons we travel.<\/p>\n

We travel because the journey our folks are on is a long one<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And the mountains they have to climb are high<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel because sometimes it is nice to have a helping hand a long the way<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Or a reminder that you are on the right path<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel because sometimes it is nice to have someone to freak out with over home school math problems<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Or to see the discoveries and progress made<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel to see the realities of life<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And to provide a helping hand<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And a few new playmates to brighten the day<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel to rejoice in what God is doing<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And to pray over the steps still ahead<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel to listen and hear all that is being learned<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And then to pass on the wisdom from lessons learned in one context to the next<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel because the spiritual side is ever present<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Constantly right in front of your face<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And sometimes it is nice to have someone join you in the dance<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We travel to encourage them to press on<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
In learning language and building relationships<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We Travel because the more we do it the more we see how valuable it is<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And until God directs us otherwise it is clearly the way God has chosen to use us<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And so there is nothing else we would rather be doing!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
