The second trip took Joel traveled\u00a0 to the North of the country.\u00a0 The people group they were looking into was a large people group who has been pretty resistant to change. It is a different type of work for us as an organization since they are less isolated and more spread out, but at the same there is a great need among them.\u00a0 It made the research a little more challenging as they are spread out and there is so much you could look into.\u00a0 However the goal of this was to just get a small picture and to meet with contacts that are already working there to hear more about their work and the need.\u00a0 However God was faithful in directing this trip and helping them to get a good picture of what\u00a0 the needs are and a better idea of the context in which these people live.<\/p>\n

One of the major religious towns is up that way as well<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

People come here on pilgrimage once a year<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They particpated in Life – women all together<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

And men together<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
The visited many places<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And saw aspects of life (this is an “automatic” faucet for washing hands)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

They made lots of contacts<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And got a better picture of the region<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
It was a great trip<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Praise God for all they accomplished<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
