Come around the bowl and hear a general update on life<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Fall is our hottest and stickiest time of the year.\u00a0 It is the season where our energy is zapped away by the sweat that is constantly dripping off of our bodies.\u00a0 It is a time where mold comes out all over our house we have to eat our food quickly before it rots.\u00a0 It is always a time of year we are pushing through to have the energy needed for the tasks ahead.\u00a0 It is always a hard time of year, but thankfully it doesn’t last long.\u00a0 November is always the ray of sunlight we look forward too, knowing that sometime in that month the cool breeze will come.<\/p>\n

Besides the heat our fall actually looks pretty manageable (hopefully looks aren’t deceiving \ud83d\ude42 ) We will be traveling as we always do, but we have fewer trips planned than usual. I leave Sunday for my first trip and when I return it will be Joel’s turn to travel.\u00a0 After that we have 2 more trips later in the fall.\u00a0 Our trips will take us to Liberia, Guinea, and Burkina Faso.\u00a0 Probably the trip I am most nervous about is this first one that I will be leaving for on Sunday as I will be traveling alone which always gives me butterflies.\u00a0 However I am also really looking forward to this trip as it will be my first time to see this family I am visiting in their ministry location.<\/p>\n

As for the other side of our ministry , we currently have 2 women in our E2 program (the program we run for the first 2 years our missionaries are on the field).\u00a0 This means that it is not as necessary that we go into Dakar every week as we have fewer people to check in with regularly.\u00a0 \u00a0 However we are gearing up for the arrival of 3 new families in January.\u00a0 So even though our fall should be manageable we preparing for a new year which promises to be pretty busy.<\/p>\n

Pray for our boys as they study hard at school<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pray for us we try to think ahead and prepare for a busy winter<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Pray for us as we prepare to welcome 3 new families to our field<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Pray that we might be able to use some of the down time to progress in our Wolof<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Pray that we would maximize our time together as a family while our travel is low<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Pray that we would grow in our love the for the Lord and the people he has called us to minister too.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
