It is probably not best to leave a story unfinished.\u00a0 The next day we were successfully able to leave and the rest of our trip went fairly smoothly.\u00a0 Here are a bit of our story in pictures.<\/p>\n

We were able to take a small local airline the next day and the flight was great<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We loaded up in a taxi and took drove 3 hours to our first visit<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Don’t worry we road inside the car<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We were stopped once for about 20 minutes as a truck was attempting to be pulled out<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
However we were thankful we weren’t stopped there longer and after a few attempts they let us pass<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We visited 4 missionaries who are on the journey of learning different languages and different ways of life<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We sat in on their session and did some activities together with them<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We also visited their neighborhoods<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
Met the people they knew<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And participated in normal life together – like meal prep<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
The food is different from what we eat in Senegal, but also very good<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We often attracted a crowd where ever we went<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
But relationships are what we are there for anyway<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
We ended with a meal out<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
These were my playmate for the few days we were there – books and lots of games<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
And of course who could pass up a chance for ice cream!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
This was my third trip out this year to visit these folks<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
It was encouraging to see their ability to communicate grow<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
The journey for all of them has only begun<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n
\"\"
