The kids sang<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li> ![\"\"](\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joel-mcmartin\/files\/2019\/02\/20181223_111248-600x338.jpg\")
and danced<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n Christmas Day we distributed meals as normal and then headed out to celebrate with our host family in their village. For the most part the day went as planned. However at one point in the day the boy Tyler was playing with brought him a live chicken as a gift. Tyler didn’t want to touch it and said no, but the boy insisted so I went over to rescue Tyler and accept our chicken. Although this is not our first time to be given a chicken, it was the first time that the only option was to bring it home with us. So for the the next week we fed our chicken, until it was big enough to enjoy as a meal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They boys got quite creative<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n Our Christmas ended with an outreach and Christmas Box distribution in an neighborhood where we have had a kids club running all year. God’s truth continues to go out each week as we share God’s word with these kids<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a great chance to share a little of God gift<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n When I look back over Christmas celebration it makes me smile as it is a representation of our life with blended cultures. We got the joy of celebrating in so many different ways. We truly are blessed and the season was a reminder to me of all God has done for us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
