Here we are on our way to church!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

2 weeks ago we boarded a plane to return to Senegal. There were many unknowns of how travel would be during this pandemic, but God was gracious. Everything went smoothly from our COVID tests, to the our check in person, to all of our bags arriving safe and sound. It was as smooth of a day of travel as I could have asked for. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Once we arrived we were hit with jet lag. All of us struggled to sleep on different nights. We have never had such a hard time with jet lag. Thankfully we had a week to get our feet under us before anything began. So we took that time to rest. However beyond sleep our adjustment back has gone really well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

How I would summarize our first week.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

This week our normal schedule began. The boys are back at school. Our church is meeting. We have made our first trips into Dakar to get reconnected with people and where things are at. We made a trip our to the village to visit our host family and have visited a lot of people around town. It feels good to be back and we are thankful for each day as we adjust more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Oh and we celebrated a 14th birthday as well!<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Mostly we just wanted to let you know that we are back. We thank God for how he brought us back and we are slowly getting back into the grove of life. Thank you for all who were praying! <\/p>\n\n\n\n
