Jack was born with a deficiency in his immune system. Think of it like he is missing part of it. He was born with the inability to produce \u2018Immunoglobulin-a\u2019, part of the immune system that affects his respiratory and GI systems. We\u2019ve known this for the last few years and been able to manage this deficiency pretty well with the help of some specialists and medication.<\/p>\n

However, since January 2018 his symptoms have significantly ramped up and really affected his life in hard ways. He\u2019s missed a lot of school and other social activities. While we made an appointment to see another specialist in a new hospital system over in St. Petersburg, his GI symptoms have acutely increased and he has needed some emergency intervention.<\/p>\n

Will you pray that God allows his body to miraculously begin to regulate his GI system, even just a little bit? And will you pray for our initial appointment with the new doctor?
