We are confident that we could serve well with them, and we loved the idea of being a part of the discipleship process for students. We were also drawn to the location, as it would be a good fit for our family. Don’t take our word for it, see what we mean!

What now? We aren’t sure yet. While we love so much about this possibility, there are big implications to a move like this and we’re weighing that out carefully. As you may remember, we never received any reimbursement for the out-of-pocket cost to us for Lynn’s ALF costs and we also had several medical emergencies and tax liability. The number is daunting. They plan to use methods honed in the for-profit world to create some eternally impactful profit, as we ask the Lord to use us to mobilize and invite in more Christians.

As we deal with the debt, Bethany is taking on some outside the home work to help us do all that we can to pay it off.
