As we thought about how we can focus on Christ during these Easter days, John had the wonderful idea of serving others by making lots of cookies and delivering them to some of our friends and neighbors who stayed on campus over the break. We taught Judah to say “By His wounds we are healed” and went from door to door to deliver cookies. Judah rarely got past “By…” before he got too embarrassed, but he did manage to say the whole thing once :).

So, in light of Good Friday, let’s remember Christ’s amazing, justifying, undeserved sacrifice.

Judah helping me make cookies (which mainly involved eating raw cookie batter when I wasn’t paying attention)

Delivering cookies with my boys

<img loading="lazy" decoding="async" class="size-large wp-image-506" src="http://asmaraanyan.files.wordpress.com/2014/04/dscn4937-e1397850037617.jpg?w=580" alt="Judah found a dead turtle on our way!
