<\/a><\/p>\nWell, I decided to enter this new and exciting world of blogging for several reasons:<\/p>\n
1. We’re moving halfway across the United States in 7 short weeks, are leaving behind many precious people (if you’re reading this, you’re most likely one of them!), and want to keep everyone posted on what life in Missouri is like (and yes, we’ve heard our share of jokes about moving to “Misery”, and the fact that the actual town we will be living in is called “Roach” does not<\/em> help the cause).<\/p>\n 2. I moved halfway across the world 7 years ago and am always look for new ways to stay in touch with my German peeps!<\/p>\n 3. One of the items on my “30 Things to Do Before I’m 30” list is: WRITE. Simple enough, right? Not really. I’ve always wanted to write something<\/em> but was lacking the inspiration, motivation, and dedication to do it. So starting a blog seemed like a not-too-threatening way to check that bullet of my list!<\/p>\n 4. When I suggested starting a blog at our Friday morning ladies’ coffee group, I had two people say that they would read it (and if that’s you, you’d better be reading this!). Well, technically, it was 1 1\/2 people, as one lady said that she would if she knew how to follow a blog. Still, that seemed like a good enough start to me :).<\/p>\n Thanks for being here and I truly hope that you enjoy reading about this new chapter in our lives.
