John & MelJohn & Melanie

  • enjoying serving with the Families in Ministry Department at New Tribes Missionary Training Center – with the former department coordinator leaving, John is taking on more responsibilities, including teaching more classes and more administration; Melanie continues to work with the finances for our department and finding other ways to fit in as we transition with losing 3 coworkers along with 2 other staff couples, discipling a small group of students, meeting regularly and growing together
  • John is a deacon at our church and is finding ways to serve there, without getting too over-committed
  • Melanie is taking time to make our new house a home and get things settled

  • keeping busy with school activities outside of regular classes – member of A+ program, and an officer in Key Club and National Honor Society; tutoring math; playing on the high school soccer team
  • after working full time all summer, he is continuing his job on weekends at the local golf course restaurant

As you can see we are all keeping busy and are involved in a variety of activities. We appreciate your prayers for these activities as well as for each of our personal walks with the Lord
