New Associates with NTM

April 28, 2014 by John and Melanie Kerstetter

Dear Friends and Family,

due August 1st
due August 1st

We appreciate your prayers and your support. For all that do not know, because this is the first prayer letter to go out after our finding out, we are expecting. Bethany is due August 1st, and is feeling very well after completing the first trimester. It has been a lot of fun seeing her belly grow with our baby. We cannot wait to find out what we are having. We have an ultrasound scheduled for April 4th, the day before Zach’s birthday (talk about an awesome present). Please be praying for wisdom for us as we move forward with our family. God has been so faithful and we are excited to see how He is going to provide for us.

Over the last year we have been in the process of becoming associates and God has finally brought that to a close. We have been officially accepted by New Tribes Mission as associates. We are now beginning our journey of partnering with people through prayer and finances. We are excited to see how the Lord will provide for our family in the coming months. We are still working at the Bible School, and becoming associates will give us the opportunity to serve even more within our ministries. This summer we have Pre-Field Orientation, an orientation for associates so that they can become familiar with New Tribes Mission. Pre-Field Orientation will be located at NTM USA’s home office in Florida, from June 23rd to July 2nd. We would appreciate your prayers as we look into traveling down there, since Bethany will be 8 months pregnant at that point.

In Christ,
Zachary and Bethany Parker

Prayer Requests:

  • For the support that we need to continue working at NTBI
  • For wisdom as we become new parents

Praises:

  • God has been proving Himself faithful to us in everythin
