Dear Friends and Family,
Just wanted to send out a quick update with some prayer requests.
All I have left of school is one more paper to write! I cannot believe it! I am almost done with school and am about to move onto a new season of life! I am excited about the adventures that await me in this next phase of life. I know that God still has a lot of work to do in my life and I am looking forward to being able to concentrate more on these areas of my life when I do not have the responsibility of school on top of everything else. As I look back over these past two years and a half I am amazed that I have made it this far! Every semester I needed money to be able to pay off my school bill, and God always provided. I am know that it is only by God’s grace that He has kept me here and allowed me to not have to take a break from school. I have had financial needs, dealt with depression and anxiety, and I have had health issues; through it all He has allowed me to be in school and has gotten me through each semester. There were so many times that I wanted to give up because of everything going on in my life, but He gave me the grace and strength to continue on. I couldn’t have done this with Him!
As I finish up school this week I have two major prayer requests. One is that God would provide the money to pay off my school bill for this past semester. I owe $5,000 that I have not been able to pay off because of medical expenses I have had throughout the semester. Will you pray with me that He would provide this money for me? The second prayer request is that I would be able to find a place to live here in Chicago. My friend Chelsea and I have been looking for an apartment to get together but we have not been able to find something that has all of our specifications, such as safe neighborhood, good price and amenities, and close to public transportation. Pray that He would provide the perfect place for me to live here in Chicago. I have to be all packed up and moved out of my school housing by Dec. 19th. Then I plan to go home for 2 weeks and then return to Chicago. So as you can see I need to find a place to live in a short amount of time. I have a nanny job that I will be starting on Jan. 5th. I am so excited about this job that God has provided for me. I will be nannying a 9 month old girl for a Christian family. I really like the family and appreciate their passion for missions that we have in common.
I am looking forward to finishing up this last paper, packing and cleaning, and then being with family for Christmas. I haven’t had much time to actually be excited about Christmas this year, but I sure am looking forward to it!
I really appreciate each one of your prayers, support and encouragement that you have given to me!
May God bless you during this Holiday Season and remind you of the Saviors birth!
In His arms,
Charity
