12 Days of Christmas – Highlights of 2014<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

April 1<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Bethany and Zach officially became associates with\u00a0New Tribes Mission, continuing with their ministry on staff at\u00a0New Tribes Bible Institute in Waukesha, WI; Zach working in\u00a0IT and Bethany working in the office.<\/p>\n

May 3<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013 Charity and her classmates at Moody Bible Institute hosted a seminar\u00a0for the Children\u2019s Ministry department. John and Melanie were\u00a0privileged to attend and benefit from the great information presented.<\/p>\n

May 22<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Josh graduated summa cum laude from Camdenton High\u00a0School and left on a mission\u2019s trip to Guatemala a few days later.<\/p>\n

June 22<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 BJ and Carissa (and Harley!) came to Missouri to spend 5\u00a0weeks with us while they were in transition over the summer.<\/p>\n

July 4<\/span> <\/strong>\u2013 John made a 6-day trip to Toledo, OH, with his father,\u00a0sister, aunt, and cousin, to visit other relatives.<\/p>\n

August 2<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 BJ and Carissa moved to Moody Bible Institute to\u00a0begin the Jewish Studies Program.<\/p>\n

August 6<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Bethany and Zach presented us with our first\u00a0grandchild, Mason Howaul Parker.<\/p>\n

September 19<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 After a month of classes at New Tribes Bible Institute\u00a0in Waukesha, WI, Josh had a minor car accident while making a trip\u00a0home for the weekend. His car stayed in Missouri to be fixed and he\u00a0returned to Bible school by Megabus.<\/p>\n

November 10<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 The first day of driving his new bus route by himself, Josh broke\u00a0his collarbone while roller skating. No more bus driving till the New Year.<\/p>\n

December 3<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 John and Melanie began 3 days of MK Summit meetings with\u00a0various co-workers who are involved in education and care of MKs (missionary\u00a0kids). It was a profitable time of sharing updates and trends, and evaluating\u00a0involvement and partnership for continuing ministry with missionary families.<\/p>\n

December 10<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Melanie had foot surgery to take care of a Morton\u2019s\u00a0neuroma and a bunion.<\/p>\n

December 19<\/span><\/strong> \u2013 Charity is officially finished with her studies at Moody\u00a0Bible Institute, graduating with a Bachelor degree in Children\u2019s\u00a0Ministry. Congratulations, Charity!<\/p>\n
