Road Trips & a New Leg!

August 11, 2015 by Jon and Adie Leedahl

We took a road trip to KS City to see our sweet & dear friends we went through missionary training together with this week. We both served a short time overseas, came home on medical leave, living out of suitcases & on the road a lot. Yep, we both have crazy lives & when you have someone who understands the good, the bad & the ugly of all that that involves–it’s a beautiful thing! What a FUN time we had together swapping stories about our adventures & adjustments where we are each serving overseas. Lots of memories made & laughs shared. So glad it worked to see you Jamin Peck & Elizabeth Peck & kids. We sure love you guys!!!!

Thanks for your faithful prayers guys, we are now in Rochester for a few days to get Jon’s X-3 & socket. And Jon got his official FAA letter asking him to schedule his flight test. Jon’s hoping to get that lined up as soon as possible.

Some folks have asked if we will have a little break as a family. Yes, as a matter of fact, some dear friends of ours have opened their lake cabin for us to have a get away. So excited & thankful the Lord knows what we need when we need it!!!10505595_10155830479435137_3473634913611583188_n 11705101_10153131041117252_2996699381992028113_n 11800341_10153131039772252_6835754499723491109_n 11811348_10153131040977252_458119914652226635_n 11817056_10153131038792252_507036868311297851_n 11822493_10153131038702252_5045692630117318372_n 11825752_10153131038532252_645508388049537117_n “And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. A BIG PRAISE THE LORD…FOR ALL THAT HE HAS DONE TO GET YOU BACK ON YOUR FEET AGAIN, AS WELL AS BEING ABLE TO FLY..YOU ARE A BEAUTIFUL FAMILY AND AM SO GLAD YOU KEEP ME INFORMED OF WHAT IS HAPPENING IN YOUR HEALING PROCESS, AND IN WHERE GOD IS LEADING YOU…IT HELPS IN MY PRAYERS FOR YOU ALL, BEING KEPT UP TO DATE. I DON’T KNOW IF YOU KNOW PAUL DYE, BUT HE IS MY BABY BROTHER. .I KNOW THE LOVE OF FLYING HE HAS, AND IT SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE THAT SAME PASSION FOR FLYING. TAKE GOOD CARE OF EACH OTHER..MAY THE LORD CONTINUE TO RICHLY BLESS YOU BOTH AS HE FILLS YOU WITH HIS LOVE PEACE AND JOY, AS WELL AS GOOD HEALTH AND STRENGTH FOR EACH DAY. MAY HE PUT A SONG IN YOUR HEARTS AND PRAISE ON YOUR LIPS TO HIM. love, and prayers, betty (dye) allen
