A few years ago, we introduced solar powered Bible MP3 players and they have been much appreciated. We often hear comments like: “After dinner, I listen to the Bible until I go to bed.” “I take the player with me to the garden and listen while I’m hoeing.” “I like to listen to God’s word because it helps me know the difference between right and wrong.”
The main problem with the Bible players was that we didn’t have enough to meet the demand and people had to wait a few months before it was their turn to borrow one. We have good news. Some folks we don’t even know at Bethany Church in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, heard about the situation and donated 40 more players. That is a huge blessing. We started passing them out yesterday and they put a lot of smiles on faces.
