Heidi and I spent last week at our northern Luzon flight center and got to see some great things taking place.
On the top of the list is Alex and Cole finishing their formal Tagalog learning. Getting to the point where one can communicate well in another language takes a lot of hard work and marks the point where they will start focusing on locating in a new ministry location. Good job, Guys!
While we were there we also saw the return of Pilot Zach Keller and the annual inspection of the helicopter.
Helicopters are great vehicles for getting you where you need to go, but they are extremely complicated pieces of equipment that require regular inspections by skilled mechanics. Thanks Brian, Zach, and Carl for the long hours you put in to get the helicopter back in the air as soon as possible.
This is the farewell committee that gathered to see Heidi and I off on our trip to the USA. We have some great families here and we feel privileged to work alongside them. Heidi and I are in Manila this week. I have some leadership team meetings and Heidi is preparing for a ladies’ retreat that she will be sharing at the week we arrive in Washington.
Prayer Requests:
- That the leadership team would have wisdom as they seek serve the Lord and his people.
- That Heidi’s talks at the Ladies’ retreat will go well and be an encouragement to those attending.
- That our trip across the ocean and our adjustment back to the USA will go well. Thank you for your prayers!
God bless,
Jonathan & Heidi
