Last Summer (2013), the kids at Westwood Baptist Church\u2019s Summer Hummer (VBS) donated funds to build a covered play area for the Isnag children in our village.\u00a0 By God\u2019s grace, the project has been completed (see previous posts).<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

This summer our family was able to attend Summer Hummer again and pass on a big \u201cThank you\u201d from the Isnag children to the Westwood children and their parents.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

We also got to participate in the camp.\u00a0 Heidi was a counselor for a group of four year olds.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cLook Mom, no feet!\u201d<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Thomas helped with outside activities.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Carrie was a substitute counselor for two different groups of girls.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

And I ran around doing a variety of things.\u00a0 Here I am at game time demonstrating how to run gracefully.<\/p>\n

We really enjoyed our week at Westwood and appreciate how Westwood and many other churches work hard to be a light in their communities and to send God\u2019s word to those who haven\u2019t heard.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
