{"id":877,"date":"2016-07-11T00:27:34","date_gmt":"2016-07-11T04:27:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-heidi-bamford\/?p=877"},"modified":"2016-07-11T12:41:47","modified_gmt":"2016-07-11T04:41:47","slug":"plumb-beautiful","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-heidi-bamford\/2016\/07\/11\/plumb-beautiful\/","title":{"rendered":"Plumb Beautiful"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I suspect that for most people plumbing is not a thing of wonder or beauty.<br \/>\nI have to admit that I&#8217;ve spent time under the sink and behind the toilet<br \/>\nthat didn&#8217;t have a lot of beauty involved, even if there was the benefit of<br \/>\nhorrible surprises.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/?attachment_id=25214\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25214\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/files\/2016\/07\/img1-600x450.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600px\" height=\"450px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Plumbing here in the village is often not under the sink or behind the<br \/>\ntoilet. Rather, it involves following a pipe up to a spring high on a<br \/>\nmountain. It isn&#8217;t like we wish that the water system would break so that<br \/>\nwe can go on a hike, but when we do have to go, there are beautiful things<br \/>\nto see along the way. The picture above was taken on the way to the spring.<br \/>\nThe village appears as a tiny dot in the middle of the picture.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/?attachment_id=25215\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25215\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/files\/2016\/07\/img2-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600px\" height=\"400px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As I was walking up the streambed a flash of light caught my eye; a<br \/>\nbrilliant blue and green in the morning light. I investigated and found<br \/>\nsome insect wings. I suspect that the insect itself had been someone&#8217;s<br \/>\ndinner. The wings were blue on one side and green on the other and<br \/>\niridescent. I was amazed by their beauty and thanked God for all the beauty<br \/>\naround me.<\/p>\n<p>Prayer Points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We are thankful for the beautiful things we get to see here.<\/li>\n<li>We are thankful that many people are eager to listen to Bible portions and\u00a0lessons on the MP3 players and that generous gift was given so that we can\u00a0purchase more Bible MP3 players.<\/li>\n<li>We are thankful that our kids are doing well.<\/li>\n<li>We are thankful that Thomas is engaged to Emily Foreman<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for them as they prepare to be married early in 2017.<\/li>\n<li>Please pray for us as we write lessons and do Bible translation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/?attachment_id=25216\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-25216\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/files\/2016\/07\/img3-600x800.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600px\" height=\"800px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><!--Posted by Email--><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I suspect that for most people plumbing is not a thing of wonder or beauty.
