We are heading “home” again tomorrow after a wonderful visit in Texas.  I am grateful to God for beautiful weather and great fellowship with family and friends, some of whom we have not seen in quite a while.  We know it might be a very long time before we have an opportunity to visit with them again this side of heaven.  It was great to pop in to see our friends at Waddill St. Baptist and give a quick update.  We were encouraged to hear from various ones that we are being prayed for faithfully.

When we get back to Missouri we will only have a couple of days to get ready for another trip. This time Lisa will be going east to be with her parents while her father undergoes surgery.  I will be headed southeast to our NTM home office for some training for our ministry in Mozambique.  I am excited about spending time with brother Joel and his family during that time.  When we get back “home” we will have only a couple of weeks to get our apartment packed up, cleaned and ready to move. Wow, it stresses me out a bit just writing this…but I am reminded of Isaiah 26:3, “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace, because he trusts in You.”
