{"id":176,"date":"2010-11-18T14:46:10","date_gmt":"2010-11-18T18:46:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/?p=176"},"modified":"2010-11-18T14:46:24","modified_gmt":"2010-11-18T18:46:24","slug":"mtc-youth-retreat-2010","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/2010\/11\/18\/mtc-youth-retreat-2010\/","title":{"rendered":"MTC Youth Retreat 2010"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-181\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/group-pic-21-1024x558.jpg\" alt=\"group pic 2\" width=\"491\" height=\"268\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our MTC Youth Retreat at camp MOCOMI came and went very quickly!\u00a0 We had a fantastic weekend hanging out with around 40 teenagers.\u00a0 The weather was chilly and wet the first evening but the rest of the weekend was at least dry.\u00a0 Our theme this year was Everlasting Treasure\u2026.NOW!\u00a0 What an encouragement and challenge to realize that we do not have to wait until we get to heaven to take advantage of all God has given us in Jesus Christ. We were really blessed to have our own MTC students as leaders who took time out of their very busy schedules to invest in the lives of our young people.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-185\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-225x300.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_4609\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-768x1024.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-600x800.jpg 600w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-83x110.jpg 83w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/jonathan-parker\/files\/2010\/11\/IMG_4609-188x250.jpg 188w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/>Besides planned activities between sessions we enjoyed a Saturday evening dinner party which revolved around the movie \u201cNational Treasure\u201d.\u00a0 It was a lot of fun seeing most everyone come dressed in late 1700 fashion.
