Even as I write NTM missionaries Phil & Elin and Francois & Nadia are making progress in the preparation of Bible lessons in the Mwinika language. The Mwinika village leaders have decided that the Bible lessons, once completed, will be taught in the village near Phil and Elin’s home four times each week, Monday through Thursday. The focus of their teaching will be four nearby communities with 1,500 people. They would like to begin teaching by mid February and estimate that the teaching, covering Creation through Christ, will take more than four months to complete. It is exciting to think that by the time we arrive in Mozambique that we could very possibly have new Mwinika brothers and sisters in Christ.

Phil sitting with a friend

We look forward to the time when we can be a part of the support team undergirding the work going on among the Mwinika as well as the other church planting efforts going on in Mozambique. If you would like to know more about what is happening among the Mwinika in Mozambique you can read more at the following link: www.ntm.org/phil_henderson

Next week we will head to the Health Department for routine blood work and more immunizations in preparation for our move to Africa. We will certainly be glad when we get the shots out of the way. In the midst of all the planning and preparation it is so easy to lose sight of why […]

[3,4

post-248","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","category-family","category-ministry","entry
["GET
