It seems after being involved in missions all ones life that saying goodbye would get easier.\u00a0 As far as I am concerned it seems like it has only gotten harder, so much so that I usually only say “see ya later”.\u00a0 We are thankful for all the people that God has allowed us to work with and minister to these past 11 years at the Missionary Training Center.<\/p>\n

We had the joy of meeting with some of our former teens last Saturday.\u00a0 We were able to get caught up on what was going on in their lives.\u00a0 It was cool to hear how God is working in their lives as they get to know Him on a more personal level.<\/p>\n

As always...a time of singing praises.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

We were able to hang out with our current group for the last time on Tuesday which was “bitter sweet” to be sure. It was exciting to\u00a0show them where we are headed and what we will be doing over in Southeast Africa. \u00a0On the other hand we will miss them all like crazy. \u00a0We are thankful that God has provided great leaders to continue ministering to them.<\/p>\n

This Sunday will be our last at Calvary Chapel, our church home for the past 11 years, before we move.\u00a0 We have been blessed to have a group of believers that have been a huge blessing and support during some of the most difficult times in our lives.\u00a0 I am sure we will shed some tears on Sunday but we are thankful that will have such a wonderful support network in this area.<\/p>\n

We will be packing the moving truck on Saturday and heading out on Monday.\u00a0 We would appreciate prayers as we finish up and then both have to drive the 1000 miles to Pennsylvania in separate vehicles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
