There are two people groups in West Africa are about to hear the Gospel in their own language. Please join us in praying for the teams as well as these two people groups.
The Badyaranke are in the process of discussing the best timing and location for the teaching to begin. You can read articles about the Badyaranke on the NTM website by clicking here.
When preparing scripture portions and the lessons for teaching the gospel to an unreached people group, the missionary works with a language helper to insure that the lessons and scriptures are clear. We heard news not long ago that Eric’s language helper is already a believer as a result of helping with the lesson preparation. When Eric asked him what answer he would give God if asked why He should let him into heaven, his response was, ” I have left what I used to believe and am trusting in the fact that Jesus died to pay for my sins.” The story does not end there… not only has he believed, but he is excited about and has been sharing what he has learned with his friends. His faith is so strong, he told Eric that his friends have not believed “yet”, but he has told them that when they have heard the whole teaching from start to finish, they too will believe. May God grant us a similar faith as we pray for the Badyaranke and the missionary team presenting the gospel.
- Pray for the missionary team as they prepare for this intense time of teaching.
- Pray for the right timing and location for the meetings.
- Praise the Lord for a good meeting with the village leaders about the time and location of the teaching.
The Susu people group in West Africa are in the process of hearing the teaching right now. Please pray for them as well as they are in the process of teaching through the gospel as well. I don’t have as much news on the Susu teaching as the Badyaranke, but please stand firm with them in prayer.
