Not too long ago Jenny and I were at the library here in Bryson City, North Carolina. While we were hanging out in the library, a man neither of us had ever met before walked up and asked me if I was Jonathan Roundy. I said yes…kind of hesitantly wondering what he(Donny) wanted. As we got to talk a little bit more, I discovered that his wife (Amanda) had seen me, Jonathan, and Elena at a Clogging class that both of our daughters are involved in. Donny wanted to let me know that he and his family had been praying for our family and ministry. They had visited one of our partner churches in the area and had picked up one of our Prayer Bookmarks and had been praying for us ever since. When their daughter saw me at clogging with Elena, she said…I think that is the man from the prayer bookmark. God has been having us cross paths often since that day, and Donny offered to fast and pray with me over the decision about the timing of our return to Senegal. We are awed and amazed that God would allow us to be a part of what He is doing in West Africa, and that He would provide us with such and awesome support team…some of whom we didn’t even know, like Donny and Amanda! Let us take this opportunity to say THANK YOU to those of you who we have the honor of being team members and partners with as we work TOGETHER!

I love it when God gives us those glimpses of how He’s gone before us and is preparing and caring for us, “behind the scenes.” Thanks for sharing!

What is clogging?
Rick Maupin says
Jonathan and Jenny,
What an encouraging message! God knows all, is Lord over all and loves us all! He has already seen us through our journeys and is looking for us to do what you’ve done in your note: live in gratitude for what He does and who He is. I rejoice with you and consider it such a privilege to partner together in ministry. Thanks for your faithfulness to Susie and I. You are a blessing and your growing family is a delight. May the Lord continue to reveal Himself to you through others as He has through Donny and Amanda.
Be of good cheer,
Rick

Hi Roundy Clan,
I would never imagine you taking up clogging!!!! Good exercise for the body. The Lord arranges such amazing connections and makes us know even better that He loves us and is looking after us through fellow believers. Miss you all.
Love,
