A First for our Children

October 8, 2013 by Jonathan and Jenny

First Day of School

Part of being a missionary are moving, changes and transitions for the entire family.  This year marks a first for our children: the first year they are going to the SAME school for a second time!  About a month ago they began a new school year here in North Carolina.  We are thankful for the blessing of being “settled” for another year.  We are enjoying being close to Grandma and Grandpa!  Grandpa teaches at the kids’ school, and he drives them to school every morning.

WOW!! Love the camp t-shirts. Back tom school is always exciting, all that new stuff. I used to like to eat the green paint, yum… Well all is o.k. in Delafield and we,re still spending alot of time taking care of gramp’s.
His brother came for a visit and it was good to see them interacting again.

We just had a big conf. for O.M. at westbrook and both of us got to participate. It was kind of secret because of the people being from mostly closed “M” nations. Very informative and insightfull.

All our love and prayers Ann & Steve

    Jenny & Jonathan:

I am so thankful that your kids can settle for a while. They look so very happy in the picture. I am asking God to continue to work in the hearts of you kids to allow them to feel that they are where God wants them to be. So thankful for your new son. So thankful to you and Jenny for being caring parents, for letting God guide you, and for God allowing Westbrook to be part of your lives.

Thankful for your blessings. What postion are you filling for NTM? Is the medical problem resolving? Any idea when you will return to the foreign mission field. The one in America is probably bigger than most of the foreign fields.

    God Bless
    Mae and Chuck
