MCSA Exam 1 of 3 – Passed

July 11, 2014 by Jonathan and Jenny

Microsoft Certified Professional

In October I took my first go around with exam 1 of 3 for an MCSA Certification.  The exam bested me by 18 points, which was disappointing. There is always more to be learned, so I continued in my exam preparation.

In January, Microsoft added Server 2012 R2, additional requirements, to the exam.  That added more to what I needed to know, but honestly that is a good things since the world of Information Technology is ever changing, and learning new material is part of the program.

I scheduled my exam, and as the day was approaching I was discussing with Jenny what my plan would be after I failed the exam for the second time.  Jenny mentioned to me that I might want to wait until I took the exam and knew what the result was before making those decisions. 🙂  On April 1st I sat for the Exam for the second time, that is right April Fools Day.  I was texting many of you to request special prayer for the exam before going in to take the exam. As I nervously sat through the exam, I was quite certain that I was not going to pass. I resigned myself and clicked the button to end the test and find out the results.  I PASSED!  I am now a Microsoft Certified Professional, on my way to becoming a Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate on Windows Server 2012 including R2 updates.

Thank you for praying for my exam preparation and for my exam.  Next up is exam 2 of 3.

Thank you for your prayers!

Please continue to pray for me as I prepare for this next exam!
