It’s not what we’re ‘used to’, but we are feeling quite at home now here at the church camp in Tahlequah OK. Then there are the bugs…

“Whack!!” I was startled awake by a loud noise coming from the bathroom. I stumbled in to discover Jordan picking up the dead scorpion that he had killed with his flip flop. I wondered if this would become a regular occurrence… after all, this was the third scorpion he had killed in just one week!

It has been crazy discovering all the unique bugs and creatures crawling around. Some of them, like the tarantulas and scorpions, are at least known to me by sight; others are completely foreign. Many look like ones from back home (flies, wasps, etc.), but are literally four times the size! Every day is an adventure as we learn more about our new home.

Wondering what our living situation looks like?
