How has so much time flown by?<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This is a very short update (no pictures, sorry!), but I wanted to make sure everyone could be praying specifically this week as we round the final turn and come in for the home stretch! As usual, there is more work to be done than the remaining time will allow&#8230; but God is faithful, and I can&#8217;t wait to see what He will do during this time!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Praises:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We&#8217;ve made it this far, and are almost done!<\/li>\n<li>God provided for new tires for our minivan, which we&#8217;ve badly needed before coming back to Washington.<\/li>\n<li>God is ever faithful during times of stress, stretching, and struggle.  He is the One who brought us here, and He will accomplish His purposes in us as we finish strong, looking to Him!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Prayer Requests:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For God to help us keep our eyes on Him during this final week of stateside training! We need Him to be our strength and encourage us when things get rough or difficult&#8230; which is not unexpected in ling work.<\/li>\n<li>That I (Jordan) will be able to complete this task well, and with a level of success that will fully qualify me for linguistics work on the mission field! (This is the whole reason we&#8217;re doing this ling course, after all!)\n<li>My ability to focus and keep up a good work pace, even though I&#8217;m tired mentally and physically!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With nine weeks of Cherokee study complete, that means there is only one more to go!
