Praying you are all well! After 16 months of praying and waiting, 80+ doctor appointments, heart surgery and recovery, the consulate just notified us that we are good to head back to Brazil!
There have been a lot of times this past year we weren’t sure if we’d be able to go back, but God has been extremely good to us. He has been faithful in providing Joe the care and recovery he needed. It wasn’t an easy process, but He was with us through every step of it, and we are stronger and better for it. Please pray for all of us as we are getting everything packed and ready to go at the end of February. God has used so many of you to encourage and provide for us through this difficult season and we can’t be more appreciative for each one of you. Thank you so much!
Prayer Requests
- Please be praying for God’s continued provision for us. These past two years we’ve had over $32,000 in out of pocket medical expenses (plus other unexpected purchases) and we still owe a little over half. This month we will need another $6,000+ to move back to Brazil as well. At the beginning of the year, we got our updated monthly budget, which went up, because the cost of living has gone up. We are currently at 62% and are praying for provision here as well.
- Praise God! He has continued to keep us all in good health and we are doing well. Please pray for our continued health, especially during traveling. As well as for us and the kids, we will have a full schedule of driving and back to back flights.
- Please be praying for us as we say goodbyes to everyone and for our family as they have to deal with the emotions of us leaving as well. The ups and downs of excitement and sadness are hard.
