One Step At A Time<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

THANK YOU for your prayers! <\/strong>Firstly, cardiac rehab has been going extremely well! Joe has been able to work up to walking at the max level (15) incline at 3 mph, one step at a time. Every week he’s doing more and more exercise and getting stronger. He is finally 12 weeks PO<\/strong> and is cleared to do part time, light work. Meanwhile, please continue to pray for his pain and healing, as it’s still a work in progress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Currently, we have a lot going on, we’re moving<\/strong> into an apartment at my parents again next week. Gavin has 2 more weeks of full time at Camp Carl. During the fall, he will work part time on weekends. After lots of prayer, Joe and I have both decided to work part time <\/strong>for now to help catch up on medical bills and start saving up to return to Brazil. Thankfully, God has been very kind to give us flexible positions and all 3 of us will be able to share our one vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming up, in November we need to go back to Stanford for a 6 month check up. During this time, we’re praying over the possibility of visiting some of our out of state supporters, Lord willing. This month we’ve begun scheduling Sunday visits <\/strong>with our local supporting churches and we are excited to be seeing some of you face to face soon! Certainly, your support this past year has been such an overwhelming blessing<\/strong> and we hope to express our gratitude in person as best we can with as many of you as possible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finally, even though it’s been a difficult year, God has upheld us. Thankfully, our walk with Him and our trust in Him has increased through each trial. Throughout our moments of weakness, confusion and doubting, He has renewed our strength, made clear His control and reminded us of His goodness. Ultimately, this learning experience has deepened our faith to new levels<\/strong> that we hope to be able to share with others, that they too may know the joy and privilege it is to know and serve our Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
