\u00a0Melody and I have graduated New Tribes Missionary training and are now full fledged missionaries with New Tribes Mission. \u00a0This is a huge step forward in our endeavor to serve the Lord full time. \u00a0The training we received at the Missionary Training Center was outstanding. \u00a0Mel and I couldn&#8217;t imagine attempting to go to the mission field without this vital training. \u00a0Some of the classes we took were Foundational Bible Teaching, Biblical Conflict Resolution, Teamwork, Animism etc. \u00a0We are currently state-hopping during the summer. \u00a0We started in Missouri where we visited my folks and were able to share our ministry at 1st Baptist in Shelbina. \u00a0We headed to Tennessee to visit Mel&#8217;s older brother Tim and his family, and then scooted through to Virginia\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\">to visit Mel&#8217;s family and our fr<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\">iends at Avalon Hills Bible Chu<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\">rch. \u00a0We are also focusing heavily on developing our team of ministry partners to help us meet our monthly financial needs &amp; continue to bring our ministry before the Lord. \u00a0<!--more-->It&#8217;s so exciting to see God continually bringing these partners onto our team. \u00a0We have been very encouraged by the generosity and kindness towards our family during the last 9 months as we were in training. \u00a0God has already brought many special brothers and sisters into our lives that have decided to be a part of our ministry. \u00a0As for the future, we will remain in Virginia until July 19th and then we will begin our trek westward towards our first official assignment with NTM in McNeal, Arizona at the New Tribes Mission Aviation headquarters. \u00a0Once there, I (Josh) will begin a<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\">Maintenance\/Flight familiarization <\/span><span style=\"font-size: 13.3333px\">course in which I will become proficient in NTMA maintenance practices and flight operations. <\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_63\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-63\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-63 \" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/josh-simmons\/files\/2010\/06\/Grad-11-300x228.jpg\" alt=\"Graduating Class of Spring 2010\" width=\"300\" height=\"228\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/josh-simmons\/files\/2010\/06\/Grad-11-300x228.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/josh-simmons\/files\/2010\/06\/Grad-11-1024x778.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-63\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Graduating Class of Spring 2010<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Well it has finally happened!
