It’s the most exciting news yet- Lord willing we’ll be on a flight ready to go in April!! The plan now is to leave the States between the 20th and 30th for this lifelong journey of overseas tribal missions.
We are keeping busy packing up everything we’ll be taking with us to Asia Pacific and also preparing for a big yard sale at the end of March.
We recently had an amazing send off during our church’s mission’s conference. We were beyond blessed by the great amount of support and encouragement we received. That weekend brought me a great amount of peace. There have been many times I have been discouraged and wondered why in the world am I going? Who am I to carry God’s Precious Word and share it? I’m no one special- in fact, I am really full of sin! But, time and time again I have been blessed by you; such a mighty force of believers who have encouraged me to seek Jesus again and again, and to know that He is worthy of all praise! And when I feel weak in my relationship with Jesus and feel the strains of this world YOU have been and are there for me to direct my eyes back on Jesus; the most worthy One to live for.
This, I believe is by far the biggest blessing as a missionary. Not many Christians have such a mighty force behind them, encouraging them as I do. I know that there will be many hardships ahead of me. And, frankly- it’s pretty scary! But, I am also reminded that you are there for my family and me. I thank God for you and the IMPORTANT role you have in my life and my family’s ministry.

-For wisdom to know what to take and what to leave
-For a peaceful home during this potentially stressful time
-For more people to partner with us as we are only at about 65% of our recommended monthly support
