We’re excited to share with you all that we have been invited to serve with Ethnos360 in a state-side role at the Missionary Training Center in Missouri! |
What our ministry will look like: Our family will be joining the staff at the Missionary Training Center. Josh will be working with the Building and maintenance team. He will be helping with the upkeep and renovation of classrooms, offices, existing staff and student homes as well as construction of new housing. We were encouraged to hear that they have been praying for quite a while for someone to fill this role and the Lord has given Josh a lot of experience that will make him a valuable asset to the team. Our moving date will be in June. Though our ministry will be significantly different, our passion remains the same- to see the Gospel spread to the ends of the earth. Our ministry change makes us a bit more “behind the scenes” as we will be a part of the huge network of people that enable the front line people to be, well, front line! It’s an honor and privilege to be able to serve in this way. And we pray that we can humbly serve wherever the Lord has us. Please pray:For the necessary funds. During these next few months, we will be taking the time to raise an additional $800/month. Please pray, if it’s the Lord’s will, that these needs will be met.We praise the Lord for answered prayers for Josh’s mother, Kim, who has recovered from her triple heart bypass surgery! And we ask for continues prayers for Kim as her kidney transplant surgery is scheduled for February 2nd! We pray for the doctors, for Kim’s swift recovery and that her new kidney would function properly for many, many years to come. Lately, please pray for Velma. Bethany had met her on the corner of Costco parking holding a sign saying she was homeless, asking for donations. Just before Thanksgiving, our family invited Velma into our home and has been staying in our guest room. We pray she would know Jesus as her Savior. |
