Last month, in the middle of the novel coronavirus wreaking havoc on the last semester of classes at EBI Jackson, Joshua got to go to the hospital in Chelsea. No, there wasn’t an emergency. It was just the routine bloodwork and CT scan that he needs to do make sure the cancer really IS all gone. In the time that it took for him to get the results from the lab and have the first “tele-medicine” oncology appointment, we were sending students home, 2 months early!
The labs came back super encouraging, all the levels were with in the normal range. The scans continue to show that his little nodules and lesion are very stable. Praise the Lord! Seriously, please do. We certainly are! Other GREAT news from the visit: Joshua has been cleared to go 12 months between CT scans! They want him to have an MRI in June, just to get a “hi-res” scan and make sure we’re not missing anything, but at this point everything looks very good.
