My dear mother went to be with the Lord on April 3rd of this year at age 95 1\/2. She was looking forward to it. Then we were able to be with our three children\u00a0and\u00a0all seven grandkids in July before returning to the field.\u00a0What a joy to all be together as normally two of our kids are missionaries in Paraguay, one lives in the States and we are here in Colombia. So because all of us were on\u00a0Home Assignment\u00a0at the same time, God allowed us to enjoy some good family time.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_124\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-124\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/mark-cain\/files\/2012\/10\/Revision-Team2012.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-124\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/mark-cain\/files\/2012\/10\/Revision-Team2012-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joyce-cain\/files\/2012\/10\/Revision-Team2012-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joyce-cain\/files\/2012\/10\/Revision-Team2012-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/joyce-cain\/files\/2012\/10\/Revision-Team2012.jpg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-124\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">For 7 weeks the 3 Guahibos and Mark work hard at translation and revision.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>For seven weeks we had three Guahibo men live with us to help with the translation\u00a0of some Old Testament portions\u00a0and the revision of their Guahibo New Testament. It was a challange to cook three meals a day, seven days a week for three extra adults but was worth it as the Lord allowed us to make progress. The men were good company and even did the dishes for me every day. What a treat.<\/p>\n<p>On October 20th, the Indians left for the prairie to go home and Mark and I are back to just us until February when they come again to help us.
