There have been many bends in the road as well as many trails strewn with rose petals. YOU have traveled this journey with us and we are grateful! 41 years later, God has allowed us to be a part of “our” missionary Guahibos baptizing “their” first believers!!!! Our hearts leap with joy and we can say with assurance, “It has been worth it all.” God has opened up a new area of the tribe out on the prairies where our partner, Alberto Gonzalez, and Guahibo missionary, John George, have started evangelizing. It is quite a challenge to reach the folks there who are very into “oil” and the riches it brings. It is hard for them to take time out from their search for riches and listen to God’s message for them. But God can penetrate and save lost Guahibos, regardless of the distractions God’s and our enemy throws in the way. Won’t you pray as they go to this area again in one week to teach that God would work in hearts and would provide all needed for this endeavor? It is a highlight for us and the Indians to meet together, out in the part of the country where the Guahibos live, once a year for a time of refreshing teaching, reports on the outreach efforts of the 4 Guahibo discipleship teams and hearing their heart needs as they minister to their own people. In less than two months, we plan this great event. Because of the outreach by the different teams, many more want to come than have come in the past. The number has risen from 50 to over 80. Won’t you pray for God’s provision in all aspects, teaching, transportation, and feeding. We are seen as the inviting host, and their culture requires that we at least feed our guests. This time, we are moving our disciples into doing a part of the teaching, so that one day they can completely take over these discipleship seminars. Please pray for wisdom for us to “scratch where it itches;” the itch they have as well as the itch Christ has for them to hear and understand. Rejoicing in HIS Faithfulness over 41 years, Mark and Joyce Cain

[cid:image002.jpg@01CF1DB6.0EEFBE80][cid:image004.jpg@01CF1DB6.0EEFBE80]Dear Interested Ones, 41 years ago this Sunday, Mark and I and baby Bradley stepped off the airplane here in Bogotá, Colombia!
