It is amazing how involved translation is! Take for instance
\nyesterday when Mark, Luis and Arcesio came across this verse to revise in
\nthe book of Luke:<\/p>\n

Luke 10:19 “Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and
\nscorpions,..”<\/p>\n

They had to determine which word to use for “power”: soul power\/thoughts,
\npower of authority to command, power to do things or just power\/strength.
\nThey chose soul power.<\/p>\n

The two Guahibo co-translators leave in two weeks and will be back
\nend of October for the fourth and last stint this year. Please pray for God
\nto provide the needs of these Guahibo missionaries that are evangelizing,
\ndiscipling, translating and working on Bible lessons!! Pray for the
\neducation of their children which isn’t easy like in the States. Pray for
\nour Guahibo missionary team in the country next to us that keep plugging
\naway amidst the terrible economic crisis. (Virgil, Elsa, Alex and
\nRosaElvina.) <\/p>\n

\nWord communicate in the best way to the Guahibo nation!!<\/p>\n
