Another exciting entry about daily life here in the mountains.  But the purpose of this blog series was to express the reality of life, not the glamour. We cook every stinkin&#8217; thing from scratch.  If you want bread, you get to bake some bread.  If you want a hamburger and fries&#8230;well, I&#8217;ll spare you the process. This place is dirty. And dusty. And since there is often little-to-no water around here, that makes this chore extra special at times. I complained to a friend in the US that I often find myself <em>dusting my sink<\/em>, since there is not enough water going down it to keep it washed off naturally.
