#18 Go to Team Meetings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I am not a big fan of meetings. Luckily, I am a fan of my team. And sometimes having meetings means that Pete makes us pour-over coffees, so there’s that, too…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lately I have been reminded of the need for intentional, focused times of communication while my coworkers have been on furlough. It has been just Rachel and I lately, and we have fallen into a pattern of “winging it,” which is workable, but not ideal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But as of a few days ago, our coworkers are back, and we will get back into the pattern we’ve had over the last 8ish years: we will meet together, we will contemplate direction, we will deliberate, we will hash out details, we will sometimes disagree, and then we will set a course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I rarely take pictures of our team meetings. They do not stand out as a glamorous or an interesting part of life. But they are one small snippet of how we spend our days–looking for ways to be on the same page as a group and head in a direction that honors God.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
