{"id":588,"date":"2013-08-13T15:30:51","date_gmt":"2013-08-13T19:30:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/katie-moore\/?p=588"},"modified":"2013-08-13T15:30:51","modified_gmt":"2013-08-13T19:30:51","slug":"the-one-about-tubes","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/katie-moore\/2013\/08\/13\/the-one-about-tubes\/","title":{"rendered":"The One About Tubes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A few days ago some little boys came to our house to borrow a movie.\u00a0 &#8220;We want the one about tubes,&#8221; they told Rachel.\u00a0 Rachel, needless to say, was a bit confused.\u00a0 She asked the boys what the tubes were like, what people were doing with the tubes, and other pertinent questions, but the boys didn&#8217;t know.\u00a0 They ran back home to ask their sister and she just said, &#8220;It has tubes in it.&#8221;\u00a0 Finally the story came out that they had heard about this movie from another neighborhood boy.<\/p>\n<p>The next day when Rachel saw him, she asked him, &#8220;Have you seen a movie about tubes?&#8221;\u00a0 He enthusiastically said that he had and that is was really good.\u00a0 Rachel asked him the same questions.\u00a0 He was a little more helpful and said that the people were fighting with tubes, because surely they didn&#8217;t have any machetes to fight with.<\/p>\n<p>Aha!\u00a0 The light went on.\u00a0 Was one tube blue and one tube green?\u00a0 Check.\u00a0 Were there strange people in it that looked like animals?
