{"id":282,"date":"2015-05-27T05:50:50","date_gmt":"2015-05-26T19:50:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/keith-copley\/?p=282"},"modified":"2015-05-27T05:50:50","modified_gmt":"2015-05-26T19:50:50","slug":"mercy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/keith-copley\/2015\/05\/27\/mercy\/","title":{"rendered":"Mercy!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The last thing we want is to be whiners, but we need prayer! \u00a0We are less than a month from returning to PNG, and we are not super excited about another transition. \u00a0We don&#8217;t know if we have ever looked forward to going <em>back\u00a0<\/em>to the field. There, we said it! \u00a0The first time we left for PNG we were so excited, we didn&#8217;t know what to expect and it was one giant adventure. \u00a0Now, we know exactly what to expect &#8211; and the romance is gone. \u00a0We have prayed that our course would change &#8211; but God has made it abundantly clear we are to return to PNG.<\/p>\n<p>So now what &#8212;\u00a0we take HOPE in the fact that obedience to God&#8217;s direction always results in joy and satisfaction. \u00a0That is something that is not guaranteed by any other decision, location, or relationship. \u00a0He has proven this to our family in the past, and we know HE will be faithful again. \u00a0In the past we have seen our Creator minister to our hearts many times as we board the plane with tears in our eyes and anguish in our hearts. \u00a0HE is faithful to flood us with new mercy and grace to help us\u00a0thrive. \u00a0We are so thankful that our Savior has lived on earth and gone through the anguish of leaving HIS home, HIS family, HIS friends, and HIS loved ones. \u00a0He did all that with JOY so that we can now be in a relationship with our Father &#8211; The JOY Giver.<\/p>\n<p>Please Pray &#8211;\u00a0Pray for us to experience MERCY and the strength to obey. \u00a0David often begged God for mercy such as in Ps. 123 &#8220;&#8230;we keep looking to the LORD our God for his mercy&#8230; Have mercy on us LORD, have mercy&#8230;&#8221; and we are praying that same prayer right now.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The last thing we want is to be whiners, but we need prayer! \u00a0We are less than a month from returning to PNG, and we are not super excited about another transition. \u00a0We don&#8217;t know if we have ever looked forward to going back\u00a0to the field.
