“One who supports or promotes a cause”<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

One of the most vital roles anyone can fulfill in any mission is garnering support. Being a spokesperson for and raising awareness about\u00a0a cause is just as important as doing the work.<\/p>\n

Be Creative<\/strong> – I am always impressed by the creativity of man that comes from being made in the likeness of our imaginative creator. I believe that you can come up with ideas I could never dream of, so\u00a0here is a list that could help stir some of your thoughts:<\/p>\n

Learn<\/strong> – The more you know about what God is doing through the\u00a0efforts of NTM, the more excited you will be and\u00a0the more equipped you will be to share with\u00a0others. Our website has tons of great content! NTM.org<\/a><\/p>\n

Give to a Missionary<\/strong>\u00a0– Individual NTM missionaries are funded by people like who want to partner in\u00a0the Gospel by supporting the ones doing the work.<\/p>\n

Give\u00a0to a Project<\/strong> – It is exciting and fulfilling to give to a specific project when you are\u00a0personally convinced of\u00a0the value.\u00a0From supporting nationals, to sponsoring flight time, to funding a specific translation, to helping build out the\u00a0facilities at one of our training centers, you are sure to find\u00a0something dear to your heart. Discover NTM Projects<\/a><\/p>\n

Tell Your Church<\/strong> – Are you on\u00a0the mission board? Do you know someone on the mission board? One of the primary roles of an advocate is keeping the vision and the needs of the mission in\u00a0front of others so that they too\u00a0can participate.<\/p>\n

Tell Your Friends<\/strong> – You know people that I don’t. You can expand awareness by being intentional with your circle of influence.<\/p>\n

Host an Event<\/strong> – A missions focus night can be a great way to get the word out and to provide an opportunity for involvement.<\/p>\n

Prayer Group<\/strong> –\u00a0Meet together regularly with others to lift up the needs of\u00a0the people we are seeking to reach, the missionaries and projects associated with the effort. Be encouraged and watch God work!<\/p>\n

Connect<\/strong> – We have missionaries on furlough\u00a0and reps all over the country. You and your church will be blessed to meet them. I know that you know at least one NTM missionary \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n

Go<\/strong> – We have great opportunities from mission\u00a0education and missions exposure (i.e. Wayumi<\/a>), to field trips to raise your understanding about and\u00a0draw your heart towards the unreached.<\/p>\n

Contact Us<\/strong>\u00a0– Let’s discuss these or any other ideas you come up with about how we can all work together to see all the peoples of the earth have a representation before the throne of God.<\/p>\n
