…one minute update

September 12, 2009 by Kevin and Wendy Case

When we arrived stateside for our home assignment we had no address or place to call home. We felt like pilgrims wandering with our Tahoe, suitcases and sleeping bags. A dear believer opened her home to us as a center to work from while we began the apartment search. Several things were important to us, which included location, affordability, and a short term lease agreement. We soon came to realize the daunting task it is to secure an apartment.  Messages were left all over the city with our contact information and no one was calling back. But God had a plan and led us to an apartment just two blocks from our daughter, Natalie. Then we watched God begin to provide dishes, silverware, lamps, dressers, a sofa, a table with chairs and many other essential items for living day to day.

Now we are getting to know a new city with a culture and flavor very different from our home in Mexico. We are beginning to find our way around and getting to know people. It is a new experience and an opportunity to stretch our trust in the Lord, what HE is doing and who HE is.
