What has happened since Kevin finished the initial draft?

September 10, 2015 by Kevin and Wendy Case

The first thing he started working on was going through the Old Testament portions that were done a long time ago to check for anything that needs updated. Many things have changed in translation in the recent years.

A few weeks back the editor from New Tribes Mission wrote an article about the Tepehuan people. The day it went out (to about 50,000 subscribers) BG church attendance almost doubled with all the Tepehuan who came. God is at work and it is because of your prayers. Two weeks later a different group showed up at church. Celia (Tepehuan lady) was the only repeat and she stated that the Tepehuan had not had a potluck for a while and began to organize it. Another answer to prayer that she would take the initiative to pull it together without Starr (our co-worker) initiating it. Chelo (church leader) did not show up in time to teach, but Gregorio stepped up to help out and gave a very clear testimony. Pray Gregorio will continue to step up and take a leadership role. He is very respected in the community and has been a believer for a long time. The study Matt and Starr are having mid-week at Santana’s house (an older believer) is growing. It is a more informal setting and mostly family, but Matt Arnold (co-worker) can see some gained understanding and interest. Your prayers targeted toward the Tepehuan people is making a difference. Thank you for praying.

Debbie came to visit us for 10 days. It has been nice to get out and hike some. Kevin and Debbie did Pike’s Peak together before she left.

We are saying good-bye to the dear friends God has given us here in Colorado Springs. We have been grateful for this time here and have been so blessed by what God has done.

Rejoicing in Him,

Kevin and Wendy Case
