As you can see from this graph, the number of new Ebola cases in Guinea continues to rise each month, from one in February to over 400 in October. This does not bode well for our soon return. It appears that we will have to hold off our departure for Guinea for several more months, until the situation turns around and we get official word that the epidemic is contained.
- PRAY for healing for the many who are suffering from this plague in Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Guinea.
- PRAY that health workers would be successful in their efforts to teach the population about how Ebola is spread and how it can be contained. PRAY that the truth would overcome the Africans’ suspicions and superstitions.
- PRAY for missionaries and African believers as they continue to minister to the hurting. PRAY for open hearts to the truth of God found in the Bible.
