The Lord provided a very comfortable apartment for us here on this beautiful lakeside campus, and we were quickly settled in. We immediately began joining classes and meeting with staff to learn our new roles here.<\/p>\n<p>Most days Yolanda helps with the childcare program, freeing up more student ladies to attend classes. Kirk sits in on classes each day, as does Yolanda when not in childcare. Most every day Kirk has opportunities to contribute from our years of experience church planting among the Landumas. <strong>It has been encouraging to us as students often tell us how much they appreciate the things we share in class, and the ladies often thank Yolanda for giving them an opportunity to spend more time in class.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We have enjoyed getting to know the students, and have been having one or two couples over for a meal each week so we can get to know them better.<\/strong> It is exciting to see how our God continues to raise up gifted and committed young people \u2013 and some not so young! \u2013 to serve Him among the unreached people groups of the world. <strong>What about you?<\/strong> God may want to use you in this work as well. Let us know if we can answer any questions about that or help you get started.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PRAY<\/strong><\/span> for the missionary candidates in training, that they would absorb thoroughly the lessons they are learning here.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PRAY<\/strong><\/span> for the health of the students and their children, as several have been missing classes due to sickness in their families. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PRAY<\/strong><\/span> for rapid healing for a student named Andy, who sustained a severe table saw injury to his right hand recently. He is home recovering. <span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PRAISE the LORD<\/strong><\/span> these students who must stay home can listen to what is happening in classes via the camp intranet.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PRAY<\/strong><\/span> that we can continue to be used by the Lord here and have a strong and lasting impact on the students as we share with them. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>PRAY<\/strong><\/span> that we also would be learning the lessons God has for us while we are here.<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>PRAISE the LORD<\/strong><\/span> for leading us here to serve Him for this time, and for our faithful team of supporters who continue to be used by God to meet our need for sustaining prayer and finances.
