This year has been a particularly good harvest<\/strong><\/span> for which they are all very thankful. They have had just the right amount of rain and sunshine at the right times to ripen it. The village is often empty during this time of year because people are working to get the harvest in before it rots with the oncoming rains or the rats get it. It\u2019s important to get it in while the getting is good. (Speaking of good – it is delicious! Wish you could be here to enjoy it with us!)<\/p>\n This of course reminds us of a different harvest; the harvest of souls! <\/span><\/strong>Those who have yet to hear the good news of Christ\u2019s death on the cross!<\/p>\n Son\u00e0, one of the church leaders, stopped by the house for a visit recently. During the course of conversation he named off six villages that are ASKING for someone to come teach them! <\/strong><\/span>One of these villages had missionaries living there in the early 80’s but their leaders forced them out. Now that they are gone, the younger generation wants to hear the teaching.<\/p>\n He said, \u201cWe need prayer for more laborers. It\u2019s just like what Christ said that the harvest is great but the laborers are few.\u201d<\/p>\n This is an exciting problem to have. Please pray with us for more Higaunon believers to go out with the message that they have been privileged to now have in their own language.<\/p>\n Praise the Lord, the plane has been repaired and the helicopter we\u2019ve been praying for in northern Luzon has been delivered and assembled. The only thing lacking for these is paper work.<\/p>\n We praise God for each of you who pray for us and support us financially. Thank you all for standing with us<\/span>.
