Being there with  them for those weeks met the desires of my \u201cmother\u2019s and grandmother\u2019s heart.\u201d  Thanks again for praying for us both, especially during the time I was away,  through my sickness, and for my <strong>return<\/strong> to the Philippines.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-1411\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/Nana-Livy.JPG\" alt=\"Nana &amp; Livy\" width=\"167\" height=\"126\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Our son-in-law Justin <strong>returned<\/strong> from his trip to Asia before I  left their home. He came back excited about the work that is going on and which  they hope to join by early next year, the Lord willing. Justin &amp; Nicole  continue to do pre-field ministry and their support level is now at 72%! This is  cause for <strong>rejoicing.<\/strong> Please join us in prayer for the remainder  of their support, for the contacts and meetings to see more partners in their  ministry. We <strong>rejoice<\/strong> in those who have already joined their  \u201cteam.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->I was able to <strong>return<\/strong> to the Philippines on March 8<sup>th<\/sup> and on the 9<sup>th<\/sup> we were reunited! There was a lot of  <strong>rejoicing<\/strong> going on for our being back together! Thank you for  praying for my health so I could <strong>return<\/strong>. I have been feeling  well, so we are <strong>rejoicing<\/strong> in that.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-1410 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/LL-in-plane2-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"L&amp;L in plane2\" width=\"140\" height=\"105\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/LL-in-plane2-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/LL-in-plane2.JPG 326w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 140px) 100vw, 140px\" \/>We praise the Lord  for great flying weather last Thursday as we were able to  <strong>return<\/strong> to the village. Lance has <strong>returned<\/strong> to  translating the book of Proverbs. Som<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-1414\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/good-wx-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"good wx\" width=\"162\" height=\"122\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/good-wx-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blogs.ethnos360.org\/lance-ostman\/files\/2011\/03\/good-wx.JPG 326w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 162px) 100vw, 162px\" \/>e of the concepts are very difficult to  translate into Higaunon. Please continue to pray for wisdom as he works through  this book that has so much rich content.<\/p>\n<p>When the Lord Jesus Christ  <strong>returns<\/strong> to collect His Bride, the Church, there will be  <strong>rejoicing<\/strong> for those who are His! Pity those who do not know Him  when He <strong>returns<\/strong> for His own! Pray for laborers for the fields  ripe for harvest around the world. We live in exciting days with all that is  happening around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you for partnering with us as we  continue to see God\u2019s Word get to the Higaunon people. <strong>Rejoice<\/strong> with us in all that God is doing not only here but around the  world.<\/p>\n<p>Secure in Christ&#8217;s love,<\/p>\n<p>Lance &amp; Laura<\/p>\n<p>PS \u2013 oh,  and yes! the cats were especially glad to have me back  home.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #b22222\">Prayer  requests:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Lance as he continues to work through Proverbs <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>For dryer weather <\/strong>\u2013<\/li>\n<li>rains continue and our dam for the hydro electric generators has been  undermined; repair work is ongoing. The rain has also affected the airstrip  which will need some work in the near future.<\/li>\n<li>The people here want to begin to plant their farms, but are not able because  of the rains.<\/li>\n<li><strong>For our children and grandchildren<\/strong> (Robert &amp; his son  Ean, Nicole &amp; Justin; Olivia, Jacob &amp; Owen &#8211; they have flu and  pneumonia!)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Pray for laborers<\/strong> to take the gospel message to those who  still need to hear it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Returns and Rejoicings I had a wonderful time with Nicole, Olivia, Jacob and Owen.
